At Centaur Group Racing we have made owning a racehorse or greyhound an affordable, low risk, high enjoyment, high return investment. Horses like Hasty Prince, bought for only £18,000 and sold for over £200,000, and Border Artist bought for just £2,000 and a winner of five races, have become household names.

In 2004 we bought Bagan for £25,000. He is now valued at £150,000. This continues to show the excellent value we have achieved with our bloodstock purchasing.

Since our first purchase in 2002 our racehorses have won an average of 2 races each and our greyhounds 4 races. Our owners receive full privileges, including owners badges, stable tours and free attendance at our annual open day.

Our Policy

1. We use our considerable form and breeding expertise to buy horses and greyhounds which we are confident will improve.

2. We place animals purchased with the trainers who we think will get the most

out of them. We don't put all our eggs in one basket.

3. All of our owners have a full say in training programmes.

4. All of our trainers have agreed to give owners access to animals in training.

5. All owners receive specific betting advice before each race.

6. All owners receive at least 1 owners badge every time their animal runs. We regularly provide free hospitality for owners.
